CHINA TRIP
So much to talk about. let's start from the first day! :)
Sorry arh, will sound abit weird as i just see and type from the itenary.
FIRST DAY ( 26oct ).....,
Singapore--->Beijing
Upon arrival, we went to visit THE PLACE and enjoy the magnificence of the SKYSCREEN. this is a gigantic shopping centre in the Central business district. the main reason to go there ( aside from shopping ) is the world's second-largest LED screen. the screen hangs above the walkway and is 88 feet wide with the length of a city block. look up as you shop, but don't be surprised if the sight is overwhelming! it's a stark spot of medernity in a city of ancient chinese history. next, proceed to DI'AN GATE for ziwei astrology observation and expect abundant prosperity in the coming year.
SECOND DAY ( 27oct )......,
proceed to QIANMEN STREET in the morning. located at the centre of beijing near Tiananmen Square, Qianmen street is no more than 2km long and has been a prosperous area for more than 600 years. it as accumulated some long-standing stores and many well-known chinese stores started their operations there. the reconstruction project aims to preserve the Qiananmen Street's history in its entirety. nowadays, you could oso view the TRADITIONAL TRAM CAR at Qiananmen Street. Visit the Olympic site - OLYMPIC PARK, strol in olympic street, enter the BIRD'S NEST for a visit and admire the exterior facade of the WATER CUBE. thereafter, transfer to the airport for the flight to QINGDAO.
THIRD DAY ( 28oct ).....,
in the morning, visit the Zhan bridge, which is connected with the busy Zhingshan road. the bridge was built in 1891, measuring 440 metres long and 11m wide. this structure is a well-known symbol of Qingdao. Go sightseeing by boat to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Qingdao. then, take a stroll at the WUSI SQUARE, MUSIC SQUARE. next, visit the BADAGUAN ( EIGHT PASS DISTRICT ) so named because of the 8 streets named after the 8 great mountain passes of the Great Wall. the many sprawling courtyards and villas of European architecture add to the beauty and splendor of this district. then, proceed to visit XIAOYU HILL PARK. lastly, visit the TSINGTAO BEER BREWERY, which was established in 1903 abd has the longest beer brewing history in China. next, depart fro WEIFANG.
FOURTH DAY ( 29oct )......,
after breakfast, visit YANGJIABU FOLK ART GRAND GARDEN. this is one of the three major production areas of woodblock New year paintings, where u can see the making of traditional crafts like kites and art works. then, proceed to TAI'AN. next, take the coach to TAISHAN, the most revered of the 5 Great Mountains of China. In 1987, it was declared a "World Nature and Cultural Heritage" site by UNESCO. it stands majestically, 1545m above sea level. the entire area is a blessed with an abundance of natural and cultural relics. Historical records give accounts of imperial visits by no less than 72 emperors to TAISHAN seeking blessings for peace and prosperity for the whole country from the "TAISHAN MOUNTAIN GODS".
FIFTH DAY ( 30oct ).....,
This morning, we proceed to QUFU, the birth place of China's most well-known and respected Sage and Philosopher, Confucius. though QUFU is small, it is rich in cultural relics and its history dates back to 5000years ago. visit the CONFUCIUS MANSION, FOREST and TEMPLE. All these fascinating sires are of great historical and cultural importance to mankind as Confucius's teachings are studied and adopted all over the world to this very day. they were all declared "WORLD CULTURAL HERITAGE" site by UNESCO IN 1994. a very popular way to enjoy this historical city of QUFU is by horse carriage ride ( we have sit ). Thereafter, depart for JI'AN.
SIXTH DAY, LAST DAY ( 31oct ).....,
we start the day with the Feng Shui conference. we went to this trip with the WORLD-CLASS GEOMANCER, GRAND MASTER TAN KHOON YONG. thereafter, take a stroll at the FURONG STREET for shopping, an old business street of old ji'an. i bought books and clothes and jackets and cardigans. After this, went to the YELLOW RIVER. after dinner, transfer to the airport for the flight back to BEIJING via JINAN than change flight to SINGAPORE via BEIJING.
Reached singapore around 6 plus. dad came to fetch mum and i. after dat, went to koufu for breakfast. den home sweet home and here i am typing this. :)
Some places we went is extra one so i nv type in.
MISS KOH RUI EN!! both of us like each other very much. dun think too much, she's jsut a 3-years-old baby girl. she's so cute!! keep on calling, " jie jie, jie jie, jie jie!!" the jie jie is me. lols.. she damn cute la.. i gave her my phone no. le, she wan me to when free go her house play with her. Imagine this : Her house have 9 TOILETS!! she very xin fu leh!
We every hotel stay one night, haha, damn ma fan. Below are the HOTELS we stayed.
1. JING YI DA JIU DIAN at Beijing.
2. JIANG QUAN WANG CHAO JIU DIAN at Qingdao.
3. QUAN MAO GUO SHI JIU DIAN at Weifang.
4. TAI SHAN BING GUAN at taian.
5. MING ZHU YI HE JIU DIAN at JINAN.
